1958 Rickenbacker 335 Capri

Bearing serial number 2V103, this is one of the first Rickenbacker 335s ever produced.  This example was invoiced on April 25, 1958 along with 3V101 and 3V102.  It is likely that this is the first invoice for the standard-sized production hollow bodies, as 2T100 is known to be a prototype.  The invoice described the guitar as "2 pickups- Vibrola- 850 circuit".  It was originally shipped with a Kauffman Vib-rola, which was removed and replaced with the current generic tailpiece.  The alder body is just shy of 2-inches thick (1 31/32"), and the back is a mere 1/8-inches thick (it feels very fragile).
