1957 Rickenbacker Combo 450
The Combo 450 was the 2 pickup version of the Combo 400. The 450 was introduced in 1957 with the tulip body style, and
updated with the cresting wave body style the following year. This 1957 example has a pair of very early pre-chrome
plated toaster pickups. The pickups also have an unusual solid plate beneath that does not reveal the pole-pieces.
